At INDEL BAURU, social and environmental responsibility is part of our daily lives. Our products and processes do not generate a significant impact on the environment, but we still cultivate an awareness of preservation and constantly seek practices that reinforce our sustainable commitment.

Environmental awareness

We promote lectures and awareness campaigns through the “Projetão” (Big Project), awakening in our employees a sense of care and preservation of the planet.

Waste treatment

All production waste, mostly metals like copper, is properly separated and destined for reuse. Part of it is returned to the supplier as a discount on the purchase of new raw materials; the remainder is sold and the proceeds are used to fund internal events and activities.

Reduction in energy consumption

Our factory was designed to make the most of natural lighting, reducing the need for electricity. In addition, we developed machinery and equipment in-house with a focus on energy efficiency.

Selective collection

We have adopted selective waste collection within the company and encourage our employees to take this practice home as well, expanding the positive impact on the environment.

Our relentless pursuit of excellence is reflected in the ISO 9000 certification, which we first obtained in 2001. For us, quality lies not only in our products, but also in our commitment to the environment. Even without environmental impact from our processes, we are mindful of preservation, reinforcing our responsibility for the future.
